These pages outline the courses offered at Writtle and indicate the range of subject areas and optional pathways available. Our degrees and Foundation Degrees are made up of study units or 'modules'.
The modules taken in the first year are compulsory, to ensure you receive comprehensive foundation knowledge in your subject area. From the second year, through your choice of optional modules, it will be possible to specialise in a particular area of study.

For people who do not wish to study for a full award Writtle College offers the Associate Student Scheme which allows people to undertake one or more modules at a time. The modules are selected from degree or diploma courses available at the College. See the Associate Students Scheme for more details.
All our degrees are validated by the University of Essex.
