Student Support

Student Support
At Writtle College we understand that some students may be apprehensive about their first few days at College, especially if this involves leaving home for the first time. However because the range of courses we offer attracts students from many different backgrounds, we know that you will quickly meet others with similar interests and settle down to life at Writtle within a lively student environment. Each student is also assigned a course or personal tutor who will keep in regular contact to ensure things are going well.

Welfare, Counselling, and Financial Support

The Student Support network exists to look after students' welfare. Besides offering a range of study support and counselling services, the staff here are willing to help or just listen if students are experiencing personal or emotional worries through to practical difficulties.

There are several communicators at the College who can assist students who would like to attend an academic open day or a post-application interview. For further details please contact Learner Support Centre on 01245 424200 (Minicom 01245 424254) or email.

Assistance can be provided for financial difficulties and help is always at hand so students are encouraged to share their concerns. Our Help with Funding page contains more information, or contact Learner Support Centre on 01245 424200 (Minicom 01245 424254) or email.
