| Biography | After leaving University with a degree in Economics I started a career in finance.My first position was in the Trustee and Investment section of the National Westminster Bank dealing with Investment Portfolios and Trusts. I also gained some valuable management experience whilst working in this post leading a section.After gaining this valuable work experience I completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Cardiff University.I was fortunate to then obtain an excellent first teaching position in one of the most respected 6th form Colleges in the UK Queen Marys College Basingstoke, Hants.I gained full teacher qualified status and then after a number of years moved on to experience other colleges in the UK such as Somerset College of Arts and Technology where I was Programme Manager for the HND Business and Finance Course. Whilst in the UK I also completed a Masters in Business Administration from Keele University.After a sound grounding of education in the UK I decided to broaden my experience further by teaching Internationally and went to the Middle East.I taught in a number of institutions on Degree programmes such as in Muscat Business Management College in the Sultanate of Oman whose degrees were validated by Bolton University.After 9 years I returned to Britain and accepted a post with Writtle College where I have worked for the last 5 years. | |
