Employability
Historically a very large number of graduates from Writtle College secure employment soon after leaving the College.The 2008/09 Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) Survey has now been completed and summary information released by the Higher Education Standards Agency (HESA) has enabled an early view of the Institutional Employability Performance Indicator*.
The information reveals that 87.3% of Writtle College students have found employment or continued to study this year.
Students have found employment in a diverse number of positions including education officer, plant buyer, graphic designer and stud manager.
*The Employability Performance Indicator is independently generated and validated by HESA. It shows the proportion of our graduates who are in employment or further study six months after graduation. More detail is available at www.hesa.ac.uk.

Further Education Students
During their studies, students are supported by their course tutors through a tutorial programme which includes career-related learning.
Writtle College also has a Careers Advisory Service funded by the Higher Education Funding Council and the full core service is available to our Higher Education students. Further Education students benefit from having a Higher Education Careers Advisory Service on campus whereby you can access the resources, including information on career options and Higher Education.
