Countryside

The countryside makes up 80% of the UK and around a fifth of the population live and work in these areas. A number of conservation areas have been established on the College estate, increasing the diversity of habitats and wildlife species.

Students are actively involved in the management of these sites and so gain valuable practical experience across a wide range of conservation areas.
